We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The facilities were great, including a swimming pool and a beautiful beach with clear blue waters. The location was perfect, right along the shore, allowing us to easily snorkel in the sea and explore the numerous islands around. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I liked the beach

I did not like the room, it was not well maintained at all. The lack of choices for food, the lack of any of kind recreation. I did not like the pool, it was dirty.

I recently had a delightful stay at a beachfront resort that exuded rustic charm and provided a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hotel's location on the island was absolutely stunning, with a stretch of white sandy beach right at its doorstep. The serene atmosphere was exactly what I needed to unwind and relax.

In terms of improvement, there was only one minor issue during my stay. The air-conditioning in my room broke down on the second day.

If you choose D'Coconut, don't expect shopping, luxus, gourmet food and suites. This is a place if you want to relax, snorkling, beatiful beaches, no mass-tourism, birds/butterflies/animals/rainforest, no cars/roads, no internet etc. If you are looking for that, this is the place! The staff is fantastic. The best service we got after 3 weeks in Malaysia/Indonesian.

Complaints: I don't want to complain. We did pay and got value for our money. We could go to Tioman and get some stores for big blankets and souvernis made in China and luxury, but we weren't looking for that. Some improvements for D'Coconut are still: 1. better cleaning of the pool 2. try to get the room sealed because of the ants that loves me:-)

The stuff is really friendly, I'd really like that. The location is amazing. The chalets are nice woodden buildings with simply furniture. The bathroom is not shining and there are often some bugs during the night (only in the bathroom), but I guess that is what you get in a place so far away from the rest of the world and so close to the jungle... this is not an exclusive resort after all. also, there may be some electricity shortage during the day and some times not all the food in the menu is available and forget about shopping. On revenge you are often alone on the beach, you have corals in front your chalet and a small swimming pool in case the sea is too agitated. I will reccomanded it for people who seeks a quiet and relaxing place with great nature landscape. Do not miss the opportunity to snorkeling on the two small nearest desert islands.

If you are a cleaning freak, this is not the best palce for you... It is reasonably clean seeing the location: they are not making up the room on a daily basis (only every 3-4 days) and same for towels and toilet- paper. But you can ask for it if you feel the needs... If you are scared of bugs this is also not a place for you, but at least it does not reeks of naftalene (other resorts use huge amont of this chemical to keep away insects). Not much to do in the evening either, so lovers of "movida" should probably change destination...

The hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices for a beachfront location. The staff is friendly and provides attentive service, ensuring a pleasant stay. The basic amenities, including air-conditioning and detached bathrooms with a view, meet the guests' needs. Additionally, the breakfast served adds to the convenience and overall satisfaction of the stay.

Minor improvements could be made for an even better experience.

Everything . The small community of the Island , the real Life ! No status nor expensive wannabee gadgets needed for a honest treat . Smiling , joyfull , helpfull Real Persons .

The price compared to its facilities

This hotel has some excellent aspects that make it a great value for money. the prices are very reasonable, especially for the package deals which include ferry transfers, accommodations, diving trips, and meals. Secondly, the location along the beach provides a beautiful view and allows everyone to enjoy the beach. Lastly, the staff are friendly and helpful, providing good service to guests.

All in all, this hotel was okay, but there is one aspect that could be improved.

Pulau Besar is a beautiful island and D'coconut Island is located right on the beach. The food in the restaurant was basic but good.

There was no bar at the resort. The beer came out of a cool box and on Saturday afternoon they ran out with no more due to come for that day! There was very little to do at the resort other than go to the beach or to the pool (which was a bit grubby looking). They could have offered more in the way of watersports or trips etc. When we asked about island hopping we were just told that it would be very expensive. We ended up going on a trip with another resort who asked if we fancied joining another group to share the cost.

We were alone on the island (mid october) so if you like clubbing ect it might not be the place for you.

The price we paid for our stay was very reasonable compared to other resorts we looked at. The beach was stunning and perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the fact that the resort had a nice pool area to cool off in.

The resort is in need of some renovation, the pool area was in poor condition and some of the facilities were not functioning.

Great beach and clear water in the sea :) Heaven!

The prices are extreme!! In the end they say you need to pay additional amount for the boat, which is twice the price of the room. Then you cover tax plus some 'refund' and dinner is expensive as well. You better go to hotel Aseania, which is just nearby and has a great atmosphere, clean rooms and the same, nice views. The owner of Aseania is so sympathetic! I would keep away from D'coconout next time..

just for its location

the set up of the room was done badly. rather run down and dirty. spider-webs in the bathroom. the wall was very thin as hence you could listen to your neighbour conversations all day long.
